Lauren Robinson is the Associate General Counsel at Filecoin Foundation, an independent foundation that serves as the long-term steward of the Filecoin ecosystem. Prior to joining Filecoin Foundation, Lauren was an accomplished litigator who focused her practice on technology litigation, primarily patent litigation in federal courts and practice before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (“PTAB”) at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Lauren has practiced law at both boutique firms and large international firms, and founded and led the PTAB practice at her last firm before moving in-house. Lauren also has considerable trial and appellate experience, including multiple federal district court jury and bench trials, Federal Circuit appeals, and petitions for writ of certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court. Lauren has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Women in PTAB Trials by PTAB Bar Association, a list that recognizes the most active female practitioners nationwide before the PTAB as of 2021. Lauren has also repeatedly been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Lauren serves as a Co-Chair of the Women’s Committee for the PTAB Bar Association.
